In Gran Turismo Sport, only the road and race version (christened as a "Gr.3" class race car, equivalent to Group GT3 class race car) is featured, in addition to a lightly-modified "Gr.4" racing version (equivalent to GT4 class race car). The GT by Citroën Gr.4 is a race car produced by Citroën, based on the GT by Citroën Road Car. The real car uses a modified version of the Ford Modular V8 petrol/gasoline engine, producing 646 hp (482 kW; 655 PS) The car's weight is 1,400 kg (3,086 lb). It was designed by Takumi Yamamoto. The AX GT didn’t come along until 1990, but even so, you’d be forgiven for thinking they’re as common as muck. Since 1976 it has been part of PSA Peugeot Citroën. The Citroen AX GT is a good little hot hatch, but it had the misfortune to live at the same time as one of, if not the all-time greatest little hot hatch ever. The profits we make from it go back to BBC programme-makers to help fund great new BBC programmes. Well, as you may know, 2019 was Citroen’s centenary, and we decided to drive across France in the cars that cemented the Citroen legend – the wildly diverse array of machinery, from the stripped, ungainly Mehari to the impossibly elegant DS – that’s peppered Citroen’s history. Takumi Yamamoto was a childhood friend of Kazunori Yamauchi, director of Polyphony Digital and creator of the popular Gran Turismo franchise, also known as "Gegge". Polyphony Digital also did exterior design for the Amuse S2000 GT1 (2005) and artwork design for the Formula Nippon racing team Impul racer (2006).. The GT by Citroën project with its complete production process is a step further in design for Polyphony Digital. The Citroën GT was released on November 13, 2019 as part of the Blazing Shots update and was exclusively packaged with the third Elite Bundle at the time of launch alongside with the Ferrari 599XX EVO and Porsche Carrera GT. It was added in the 2016 Autumn Update for the game released on October 13, 2016. It’s an underdog. That’s give or take the same weight as a Lotus Elise S1, for a car with a roof, four seats (ish) and a boot. The GT by Citroën concept car was specially created, designed and produced for the video game Gran Turismo 5 and was included through download in its initial version Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. This website is made by BBC Studios Distribution. We wanted a sporty car from the archives present. In July 2010, rumours that production was suspended began to surface. The 2008 Citroën GT (also known as the GTbyCitroën) is a French hypercar manufactured by Citroën as a collaboration between Citroën and Polyphony Digital, a Japanese racing simulation developer as it was exclusively made for GranTurismo 5 at the time. Under the bonnet, there’s nought but a humble four-cylinder 1.4-litre petrol engine, driving the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Under the hood, the Citroën GT … The concept car's rear was carefully designed to fit what the gamers will actually see in the game since it is the more powerful featured vehicle, argues Yamamoto. The Citroën GT has rarely been featured in games outside of the GranTurismo series. It was founded by André Citroën in 1919, making it one of the world's first mass-production car companies outside of the United States. The vehicle was unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show in France. Under the hood, the Citroën GT comes equipped with a 5.4L Ford Modular V8 capable of developing 646 horsepower. Still, the AX GT proves to be one of those cars that’s much more than the sum of its mundane parts. According to a Yamauchi interview at the Paris Motor Show 2008, he and Yamamoto started collaborating on this project back in 2003. However, this information may not be true, as there have been a few of these GTs already licensed to be driven on the road. Citroën is a French automobile manufacturer based in Saint-Ouen, Seine-Saint-Denis, Paris. Only 6 will be built, each costing $2.1 million. The car made its debut appearance in the Gran Turismo series, and has continued on ever since, and it also had a non-Sony appearance in the discontinued Facebook game Car Town.
